Admission rules

Citizens of the russian federation and the republic of belarus, who do not have a permanent (temporary) residence permit in Ukraine, are accepted for studying with the individual permission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

Foreigners and stateless persons (hereinafter – Foreigners) may obtain higher education at the expense of individual or legal entity, unless otherwise provided by international agreements of Ukraine, the consent to be bound by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, laws or agreements between higher education institutions on international academic mobility. Admission of foreigners to the University for study at the expense of the state budget is carried out within the quotas for foreigners (except for foreigners and stateless persons, including foreign Ukrainians permanently residing in Ukraine, persons recognized as refugees and persons in need of additional protection). Foreigners are accepted for Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees for accredited educational programs.  The university can also accept foreigners for postgraduate studies, under the programs of the Preparatory Faculty (department), for studying the state language and/or language of instruction, as well as for obtaining postgraduate education, capacity-building and internships.

Admission of foreigners to study can be conducted online and/or remotely. 

The term of validity of the invitation to study is set to no more than 1 year from the date of its registration in the Automated System “Electronic Journal” of the state enterprise authorized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Foreigners can study remotely if they have received an invitation to study, registered in the Automated System “Electronic Journal” authorized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, received a range of services for information and consulting support, as well as received a visa to enter Ukraine for studying (except citizens of visa-free countries) or carried out the procedure of legalization of documents on education in the country of their issue: (carried out legalization in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the country that issued the educational document; carried out legalization in the Consular Department of a Ukrainian diplomatic institution abroad (consular legalization or apostille).

In order to organize the distance enrollment of foreign citizens for higher education, Cherkasy State Technological University enters into an agreement with a partner organization that is a country resident of applicants origin.

The University may enter into agreements with organizations that meet such requirements in accordance with the rules of admission to study at Cherkasy State Technological University.

In case of remote admission, the foreigner sends legalized and notarized copies of documents on previous education to the educational institution by mail. When crossing the state border of Ukraine for the first time and upon arrival at the educational institution, a foreigner submits the original documents personally

The admission of foreign applicants for studying at the expense of individual or legal entity may by carried out by Cherkasy State Technological University:

1) twice a year, before and at the beginning of academic semesters for bachelor’s and master’s degrees;

2) during the year for postgraduate studies (studying at the preparatory department).

Admission of foreigners to study at an appropriate level of higher education is carried out by entrance exam results in certain subjects and language of study and on the basis of academic rights to continue studying provided by acquired education document in the origin country, and considering the scores of success giving the right to continue studies at the next level of higher education in accordance with the laws of the country which issued the document about the obtained education degree (level).

All categories of foreign applicants are enrolled in Cherkasy State Technological University on the basis of admission orders. Proof of training can be a certificate, formed in the State Electronic Database on Education (EDEBO).
